 This piece takes sentimental patterns, woven into colorful abstract shapes and stripes to explore the potential of self realization inherent through its patchwork reconstruction. The title and shape referencing my substance abuse issues and the feeling of being strung up and strung out. This work goes through many processes of making and unmaking that mimics my own personal growth and progress finally settling inside a decorative and utilitarian metal.
